Vasan Sitthiket

Vasan Sitthiket (b.1957,Nakhonsawan Province, Thailand) study art at The College of Fine Art, Bangkok,Thailand. He is an artist and activist who do all media of art as weapon to attack all idiotic power such as paintings, woodcut, sculpture, Shadow puppet, poetry, stories, songs, video and Performance.

He always join with the poor uprising and demonstrated against the government, his content in his art to prevent war, corrupted politician, no dam nor nuke either weapon or electric plant, protect the mother nature. He participated Sydney Biennale, Venice Biennale, Gwangju Biennale and performance in Canada, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, China, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Swiss, Poland, Chile, USA, Austria, live and works at his studio Chumsaeng, Nakhon sawan province, Thailand.
