Installation of Katharina Grosse’s painting at Siam Patumwan House

“I like this anarchic potential of color.”    Katharina Grosse

Katharina Grosse is a German artist with an international reputation. Her works are distinct for their use of color. She employs a spray gun to create large-scale paintings. With her sprayed works, she also transforms entire spaces into complex worlds of color that extend beyond the canvas to the architecture and landscape around them. Large and powerful, Grosse’s pieces feature intricate layers of paint and sweeping, expansive movements. As she describes, the boundaries of imagination dissolve, and abstraction becomes a means of daring “to leap into paradox reality.”

JWD Art Space is delighted to have earned the trust and honor of esteemed clients to manage the importation, transportation, and installation of Katharina Grosse’s painting, measuring 10 meters in length and 3 meters in height, at Siam Patumwan House.
